Police Department

The Pilot Mountain Police Department is tasked with protecting the rights of all persons, within its jurisdiction to be free from criminal attack, to be secure in their possessions, and to live in peace. The department serves the people of Pilot Mountain by performing law enforcement functions in a professional manner, as the department is ultimately responsible to the people of the Town of Pilot Mountain.

To improve the quality of life by preserving the peace and safety of our community and creating a positive interaction between the public and police while continuing to serve the unique needs of the Pilot Mountain Community.

Staff

The Police Department currently consists of eight full time officers, eight part time officers and one full time administrative assistant.  Pilot Mountain Police Department is led by the Interim Chief of Police, Adrian Tillotson  and Capitan Jeff Easter.
